Is just dusting some loose powder over acne an effective way to cover it?

I don't want to look caked on with all that liquid foundation and stuff. What is the best way to cover up acne and still look natural? Could I just dust some loose powder over my face, or would that not be very effective? Any help would be appreciated :)Is just dusting some loose powder over acne an effective way to cover it?
Placing powder on your face anytime can clog up your pores, so imagine a zit not being able to breathe! This could cause some unecessary scarring.





Clearasil makes something that is supposed to rid you of your acne in three days, I have yet to try it as it sits in my medicine cabinet, but give it a shot.Is just dusting some loose powder over acne an effective way to cover it?
I have found that NOT USING any powder or foundation over acne is the best. I simply dab tea tree oil on the pimple. Sometimes I'll apply powder once if I have to. If your foundation is heavy, it could aggravate the acne anymore. I suggest skipping foundation on the acne.
I don't think that'll cover it enough, but then again, it depends on the powder you're using.





I would recommend covering the acne with a little bit on concealer. The trick to buying concealers, is buying it one shade lighter than your actual skin tone.
Loose powder only evens out your skin tone a little bit.


If Your acne is really red or really stands out, cover up the pimples by dabbing a little bit of concealer on the spots, then dust the loose powder over your whole face, but keep it light.
nothing you use can make you not looked ';caked'; just try to get rid of your acne. almay has a type of liquid foundation though if you're willing to try it that cures acne. And also try the neutrogena wave.
clinique makes some pressed powder foundation that doesn't clog pores and still covers acne you may want to try that.
it wouldn't be effective. loose powder is meant to set and protect the concealer or foundation you've already put on.
Used mineral foundation and concealer.

use powder concellers if you only want to use powder
use concealer over the blemishes first then powder over your whole face
